Welcome to the California Daughters of the American Colonists web page. The Daughters of the American Colonists is a lineage society whose members are descendants of the early settlers of the original thirteen colonies of United States of America. We welcome all women who are descendants of these settlers.
Our mission is to promote patriotic, educational and historical research; to document and record the deeds of the American Colonists; to foster among the citizenry love of Country and its institutions; and to obey the laws and venerate the Flag of the United States of America - the emblem of its power and civic righteousness.
The California Society has ten chapters throughout the State. Each chapter has is own personality and volunteer programs which support the patriotic, educational and historical objects of the Society through individual chapter programs.

In honor of the California State Society’s 100th anniversary, April 1925 - April 2025 a special Anniversary pin was designed. The National Society gave us permission to design a pin which may be worn on our members’ ribbon. The placement of the pin is to be just above the members first ancestor pin.
